Zombie Invasion: T-Virus

Are you ready to face the zombie apocalypse?

Now, I'm all for free zombie games, but this one was just horrible. It's a point-and-click adventure game, but there is no real adventure to it. You start out on the first floor of an apartment building and you must go through the different levels and rooms to get various items to finally create a cure for the T-Virus that turns the dead into the walking dead. If you think that was a bad reference, there are even more inside the game that attempts to tie it to the hit show on AMC.

The game in itself looks great (with the exception of some grammatical errors in the story) but the gameplay is horrid. Most of the time, I would just click on anything that I thought you could pick up or interact with. Even after doing this, I still had to look up a walkthrough for the game. That's quite sad considering there is less than an hours worth of actual gameplay. Most people would want to play a game like this and have it be much more immersive, longer, and easier. I'm not against a challenge, but in a game that is this short, the challenge doesn't fit, and I shouldn't have to look for a guide to play it.

Another thing that rather peeves me is the 'zombies.' The game says that they are aggressive towards the living and you should kill them all. Well, I'm here to tell you that you can take your sweet time killing the zombies. They literally do nothing but stand there and groan. And their groans sound like really bad upset stomachs, not what I would expect the living dead to sound like.

ZI: TV gets a low score.

All things considered, I would strongly urge you to stay away from this game. It may be free, but the time you will spend playing it you can never get back. This game is frustrating, and the zombies are laughably complacent. The only things that it really has going for it are the fact that it's free and the graphics are halfway decent. If you still want to try this game out, you can download it from the Play store.
