The Hangover Part III

The End.

I have recently seen the third instalment of the trilogy of the Hangover but have to admit I was not as impressed as I was with the previous two movies.

The same cast return with the eye candy via Bradley Cooper and the big laughs coming from co-stars Zach Galifianakis as Alan and of course the infamous drug lord, Mr. Chow played by Ken Jeong. From seeing the previous films, it appears the creators have realised audiences have fallen in love with Alan and have based the film more round him. However this almost back fires as although there are many hilarious moments, some of Alan's jokes seem a little forced.

As Doug is again seperated from the other characters, there are some similarities to those in the original score, including the return to Las Vegas. This trip is a little short lived and included a very disturbing scene between Alan and the female equivalent found through Bridesmaid actress, Melissa McCarthy.

A mediocre 4 stars for The Hangover III

I would give the film a 4 out of 10, as the film on its own could be funny but with so many similarities to the first film, it feels too much like a poor recreation without the laughs. For all those who have loved the films before it, it may be worth seeing to complete the viewing of the trilogy but I would not recommend getting your hopes up.
