You may have played these games before,
But never like this!
Let me start off by saying this. The premise of the Family Game Night series is great. They take games that we know and love and package them together along with remixed versions into a fun compilation game. However, this 4th edition based off of the TV show by the same name, does not get the same praise.
First off, the game is called Family Game Night. Just looking at that, you would think that you could play with 4 people at a time. WRONG. It's either single-player or two players with this game. Why bother even calling it Family Game Night if only 2 people can play at a time?
Second, there is no real re-playability. If you play it once, that's really all the fun you get out of it. That's not to say that the games themselves aren't fun. Quite on the contrary, there are a few games out of the five (Scrabble Flash and Yahtzee Bowling in particular) that I would really enjoy playing in real life. But the lack of being able to play the original games (Game Show versions are the only option) makes it a lot less fun to play.

| FGN4 gets a measly 3 stars |
My final verdict is that this iteration of Family Game Night only gets 3/10 stars. If I'm being truly honest, it shouldn't even get that, but because I really liked 3 of the 5 games, that gave it a slight boost.
