Dragon Age: Redemption

Alright, all you readers. Today's review is going to be on the 6 episode web-series, Dragon Age: Redemption.

You may be thinking, "Dragon Age. Isn't that a game?" And you would be right. But this isn't a game, just based off of it. It follows the story of an elvish Qunari named Tallis (Felicia Day) and a Human Templar named Cairn (Adam Rayner) as they track down a mage who has gone rogue.

It's a nice little series, a little short maybe, but good all the same. I think total run time of all the episodes (minus the credits and previews) is around an hour. That's a respectable length for a web-series.
Art for said DVD

The special effects aren't that bad either.  That being said, the blood splatters are clearly fake/cgi. But that doesn't seem to faze anyone, as the series got turned into an actual DVD that you can buy from NewVideo, and it's on backorder. Just based on that fact alone shows you how popular this creation by Felicia Day really was.

That's right, folks. Dragon Age: Redemption was written by Felicia Day. And if the fact that there's blood and swords and magic doesn't make you want to watch this, the fact that it was written by and stars FD surely will.

DA:R gets 8.5/10 stars in my book

So if you haven't seen it yet, go check it out on YouTube. I am sure the Machinima channel would appreciate the traffic. I give it 8.5 stars based on the clear difference in the quality of the blood vs. the magic powers. But the fact that it made me want to play the game Dragon Age after having never played it before makes up for a lot of that loss.
