Spaghetti, Wenches & Metaphysics

The series of videos introducing His Noodliness—The Flying Spaghetti Monster—to the world.

I decided to take a trip off the beaten path and do a review on a religious web series. I introduce to you: Spaghetti, Wenches & Metaphysics. This ingenious series (only one episode at the moment, but the creator is working on a second episode) was created by Matt Tillman as a project for his major.

As a devout Pastafarian (believer in the Flying Spaghetti Monster) myself, I appreciated Matt's introduction to the Holy Pasta, the FSM. He does a great job in introducing His Sauciness in a way that is accessible to everyone, not just those who follow in His footsteps.

This first episode basically just covers what The Flying Spaghetti Monster is and what Pastafarianism is. As far as upcoming episodes, I haven't the foggiest idea, but I am sure they will be just as good.

I understand that, because this post is about religion, some people may get offended. It is not my intention to offend anyone, however, if you are, I suggest you take a look at some of the reading over at the Official CotFSM website. You may change your mind (then again, you may not) when you read what the FSM is really all about.
9.5/10 stars for SW&M

I am giving Spaghetti Wenches & Metaphysics a 9.5 star rating because it is a great way to introduce yourself to the Holy Sauced One. Also, the animation is top notch. The only episode is really short though, which I don't like. Personally, I am looking forward to the upcoming episodes (the first of which can be found on Vimeo here). I ask that you take a look with an open mind and see what you think. And may you always be touched by His Noodly Appendage. R'Amen.
