2012 YESS Duck Derby

Ok everyone. Here is the point where I ask you all for some help.

My fiancée's work is helping to raise money for Youth Emergency Services & Shelter of Iowa (YESS). YESS "provides emergency shelter, respite, crisis care, and counseling for children birth through age 17." Every year, they hold a duck derby, where tens of thousands of rubber duckies race to win prizes. You may be asking, "Well how does a duck race raise money for kids?"

Each duck is 'adopted' by someone just like you. Proceeds from each duck go to YESS. If your duck is one of the first to cross the finish line, you win a prize. Even if you don't win anything, you have helped raise money for a great cause.

Now, her work is holding an internal competition (the details of which I don't know) to get ducks sold to raise awareness for this. It would mean a lot as, well as being just awesome in general, if you could buy a duck to help her team out. To do this, I have provided some instructions below:

1. Go to http://www.duckrace.com/Home/tabid/1528/Default.aspx
2. Click Adopt a Duck
3. Select No for do you have an Adoption Paper & hit continue
4. Click the duck on the right side "Adopt a Duck by selecting your favorite TEAM"
5. Her team is under Corporate Teams → Wells Fargo → TEAM HARP → Team Hemesath
6. Click Adopt under this Team Member, and fill out the form to donate for charity & help her team win.
