TableTop

Wil Wheaton hosts this lively tabletop gaming show.

Just recently, Geek & Sundry launched it's new shows. One of these is TableTop, hosted by Wil Wheaton. There has only been one episode of it so far, but I am hooked.

The idea is that every other Friday, Wil will feature a different tabletop game and do a play through with others. In the first episode, he played Small World with Sean Plott (host of “Day9TV”), Grant Imahara (host of Discovery Channel’s “Mythbusters”), and Jenna Busch (geek blogger). The guests themselves will be a big draw in the long run, with people coming back just to see who is going to be on the show next.

Not only that, but the watcher will be introduced to games that they might normally never know about. I, for one, had never heard of Small World until I watched the episode featuring it. This, paired with the celeb host & guests, makes for a high rewatchability

TableTop gets an almost perfect 9 star rating

In conclusion, TableTop is a great show that can appeal to many different people. Even if you've never played a tabletop game in your life (chances are you have), you should check this out and broaden your gaming horizons. You might find a game you like.
