A vlog show created by Felicia Day.
For the next Geek & Sundry review, I will be covering Felicia Day's The Flog. What, you might ask, is a 'flog?' Well, according to Felicia Day, it is short for Felicia['s] video blog. Makes perfect sense.
But what exactly is The Flog all about? Basically, FD finds stuff that she wants to do and she does it. If that seems a bit confusing, it is more or less like she has ADD (no offense intended to anyone). Basically, she finds things that she finds interesting and does them. Each week is different.
And speaking of each week being different. In addition to the main segment of the episode, Felicia also gives us her Fave Five. This is her favorite five things across the web for the week. That's right, each week (Monday to be exact) a new episode is posted.

So far, she's covered blacksmithing, carving ice sculptures with a chainsaw and made a (very delicious looking, might I add) torta with one of her cast mates from The Guild. So far there have only been 5 episodes (the aforementioned activities being the topics of 3 of them), but The Flog has the potential for a lot more episodes.
And to complete each episode, Miss Day takes a 'Question of Note.' These are questions submitted by the audience and subsequently answered by the host, one per episode. But they aren't answered just any old way. Nope, Felicia types out a response on her shiny silver typewriter and then mails said response to the asker of the question. Pretty neat, no?
So anyway, I give The Flog 8.5 stars. Why not 10? I feel that once you watch an episode, unless you missed something, it really doesn't draw you back to watch the same episode again. Don't get me wrong, the show is awesome, and the overall rewatchability is great, just not so much on an episode-to-episode basis. And just on the off chance that Felicia Day actually reads this post, no offense was meant towards you in any way (in reference to the rating).

PS: I know there have been three web series reviews
in the past five reviews and there hasn't been
a book review in a while, but don't worry.
I am working on TWO new book reviews at the moment,
so be on the lookout for those in the near future.
