We're the Millers

*If Anyone Asks.

I just recently saw We're the Millers with my wife. Let me tell ya, I was expecting to laugh, and I wasn't disappointed in that respect.

The entire plot centers around the David, who is a drug dealer. He owes a debt to his boss, and to make up for it, he must smuggle a "smidge of mari-ju-wana" out of Mexico. How does he intend to do that? By faking that he has a family.

Let's just say that the plan isn't quite foolproof. It all hinges on the fact that 4 people who really have nothing in common with each other can fake that they are related so that they don't get caught. But that isn't the only thing that isn't foolproof in the movie.

The jokes and comedy, while funny, sometimes feel forced and unoriginal. On the other hand, the surprisingly likable characters and surprise ending make up for the rest of the films shortcomings.

8/10 seems fitting for this road trip

As I said already, the movie is funny, but because of jokes that just seem ripped off from other things, it loses a couple stars. I'd still recommend it to anyone who is looking for something funny to kill time with though.
